A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 2006 -II -1 TO THE REDLANDS GENERAL
PLAN
WHEREAS, in accordance with. Government Code section 65353, the Planning
Commission of the City of Redlands has reviewed the proposed amendment number 2006 -II -1 to
the Redlands General Plan and made a written recommendation for adoption of such amendment
to the City Council after holding a noticed public heanng, and
WHEREAS, notice of this City Council's public hearing for the proposed amendment
was duly published in the Redlands Daily Facts by the Redlands City Clerk, and
WHEREAS, following a public heanng on the proposed amendment, at which this City
Council provided opportunity for public testimony, the City Council determined that adoption of
the proposed amendment is in the best interest of the public health, safety and general welfare,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands
that the following amendment for the calendar year 2006 to the Redlands' General Plan be
adopted
Section 1 Amendment No 2006 -II -1 The land use designation for existing excess
right-of-way and undesignated property located on the west side of Wabash Avenue, south of the
I-10 freeway and north of Sunset Dnve, as Very -Low Density Residential and Resource
Conservation and, changing the land use designation of an area adjacent to an existing ndge
located west of Wabash Avenue, south of the I-10 freeway and north of Sunset Dnve from
Resource Conservation to Very -Low Density as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit
