HomeMy WebLinkAbout6508 (2) RESOLUTION NO. 6508 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 2006-1-B TO THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE REDLANDS GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, in accordance with Govenrunent Code section 65353, the Plaiuling Commission of the City of Redlands has reviewed the proposed amendment number 2006-1-B to the Redlands General Plan and made a written recormnendation for adoption of such amendment to the City Council after holding a noticed public hearing; and WHEREAS, notice of this City Council's public hearing for the proposed amendment was duly published in the Redlands Daily Facts by the Redlands City Clerk; and WHEREAS, following a public hearing on the proposed amendment, at which this City Council provided opportunity for public testimony, the City Council determined that adoption of the proposed amendment is in the best interest of the public health, safety and general welfare; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands that the following first cycle amendment for the calendar year 2006 to the Redlands' General Plan be adopted: Section 1. Amendment No. 2006-1-B Page 43, Figure 4-1 of the Circulation Element of the General Plan is hereby amended to change the street designation for the segment of New York Street between Redlands Boulevard and Colton Avenue from a "Collector" street to a "Local Street" as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit"A". ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day of June, 2006.
