HomeMy WebLinkAbout6201RESOLUTION NO 6201 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS INCREASING FEES FOR THE REDLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO 6065 WHEREAS, Chapter 3 16 of the Redlands Municipal Code authorizes this City Council to recover the costs reasonably borne by the City for providing services to the public; and WHEREAS, the Redlands Police Department offers billed law enforcement services to the public, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows Section 1. Exhibit "A" pertaining to "Personnel - BiIled Overtime Rates" to Resolution No 6065 is hereby amended as follows "Personnel - Billed Overtime Rates The billed overtime rate for the positions of Police Officer, Police Corporal and Police Sergeant shall be at the then present hourly rate at "E" step plus all applicable benefits and overhead All other sworn positions shall be at the then present hourly rate at "F" step plus all applicable benefits and overhead. The billed overtime rates for civilian positions shall be at the then present hourly rate at "E" step, plus all applicable benefits and overhead " Section 2. of this resolution The above stated fees shall become effective immediately upon the adoption ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of October, 2003 us. ' Peppier, MaoPro Tem ATTEST 6201 wpd I, Lome Poyzer, City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of October, 2003, by the following vote AYES Councilmembers Gilbreath, George, Harrison, Mayor Pro Tem Peppler NOES None ABSENT Mayor Haws ABSTAIN None Lome Py 'zer, Cityettj City oiRedlands RESOLUTION NO. 6065 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE REDLANDS POLICE'DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, Chapter 3.16 of the Redlands Municipal Code authorizes this City Council to require the ascertainment of recovery of costs reasonably borne from fees and charges levied therefor in providing the regulation, products, or services, hereinafter enumerated; and WHEREAS, the Redlands Police Department is required to provide various reports, permits and other services to the public; and WHEREAS, the Redlands Police Department offers billed security services and the Senior Transportation Program; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows: Section I. The fees for the Redlands Police Department as set forth in Exhibit "A attached hereto are hereby adopted. Section 2. The fees specified in Exhibit A and attached to this resolution shall become effective immediately upon the adoption of this resolution. ADOPTED SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of September 2002. Group 1 City of Redlands/Public Agency City personnel (for departmental, city and/or regional business), Council members, Council appointed commissions, committees, and task forces; public agencies with reciprocal agreements. No fee. Group 2. Redlands Non-profit Organizations and Community Groups Registered nonprofit or charitable group with registered non-profit status with the State of California, complete with tax exempt identification number community groups with free membership open to the general public; groups sponsoring activities open to the public free of charge. Fees noted below Group 3 All non-resident individuals or groups; other community groups, businesses and/or individuals; groups soliciting donations or charging admission; groups sponsoring activities closed to the general public. Fees noted below Per Vehicle Rental Rates. Group 2 Group 3 Van $1/mile plus fuel $5/mile plus fuel Bus $3/mile plus fuel $10/mile plus fuel Driver * $24/hour $24/hour Refundable Deposit $200 $200 * Redlands Police Department employees must drive rented vehicles. Senior Transportation Standard Trip Fee $1.50 each way 10 Trip Pass $15.00 each pass Monthly Pass $30.00 each pass Fees may be adjusted at the discretion of the City to accommodate special needs. This may include disabilities, income and/or grant discounts.
