HomeMy WebLinkAboutContracts & Agreements_23-2021SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS HOME EMERGENCY AID PROGRAM (HEAP) SUBCONTRACTOR AGREEMENT WITH INLAND TEMPORARY HOMES This second amendment ("Second Amendment') to the agreement for Homeless Emergency Aid Program ("HEAP") dated July 16, 2019 ("Agreement') by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation ("City"), and Inland Temporary Homes, dba Inland Housing Solutions, a non-profit organization ("ITH"), is made and entered into this 16' day of February, 2021. RECITALS WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and ITH to amend their existing Agreement, specifically to decrease the amount of compensation by sixty thousand five hundred fifty five dollars ($60,555) and to reduce the performance accomplishments to be provided by ITH as a result of the recapture of a portion of the initial HEAP award made to the City by the county of San Bernardino on January 26, 2021; NOW, THEREFORE, City and ITH agree as follows: AGREEMENT Section 1. Paragraph D of section 2 of the Agreement, is hereby amended to read as follows: "D. ITH shall provide Rapid Re -Housing services to 30 persons (15 annually), and to provide Emergency Motel Voucher services to 40 persons (20 annually), during the term of this Agreement." Section 2. Paragraph A of section 3 of the Agreement, is hereby amended to read as follows: "A. City shall pay ITH a "not -to -exceed" amount of three hundred fifty-four thousand three hundred twenty seven dollars ($354,327)." Section 3. Paragraph D of section 3 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows: "D. Reimbursement of allowable costs shall be made against the line item budgets specified below, herein and in accordance with performance. Section 4. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this Second Amendment and in effect.
