A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE BOUNDARIES PREVIOUSLY ESTAB-
LISHED BY RESOLUTION NO 5719
AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE REMOVAL NO 93
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has established certain agricultural preserves pursuant to
the California Land Conservation Act of 1965 and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4888 adopted by the City Council of the City of Redlands on
July 7 1992, establishes policy criteria for removal of certain lands from within the City's
Agricultural Preserve; and
WHEREAS, an application has been made to remove certain lands from agricultural
preserve status, thereby amending the City's agricultural preserve boundaries:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands
that:
1. The applicant is the legal owner of record;
2. The application is in conformity with the Redlands' General Plan;
3. The land requested to be removed from the Preserve does not circumvent land
under contract in accordance with the California Land Conservation Act of 1965
4 The removal of the lands will not adversely impact the City's goals of discouraging
premature and unnecessary conversion of agricultural land to urban uses, and will
not encourage discontinuous urban development patterns that unnecessarily
increase the costs of community services to Redlands' citizens;
5 That the real property located in the City of Redlands, Cotmty of San Bernardino,
State of California, as definitely set forth in the amended map attached hereto in
Exhibit A, which is incorporated by reference herein, is hereby designated and
established as an Agricultural Preserve within the meaning of and pursuant to the
California Land Conservation Act of 1965 as amended, and
6. Parcels identified by July 1999 San Bernardino County Assessor's Parcels Nos.
174-202-01 and 174-202-02 are therefore deleted from the Agricultural Preserve as
established by Resolution No. 5719
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of September , 2000.
