A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FOR ADOPTION
OF AMENDMENT NO 79 TO THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has prepared an amendment
to the General Plan and recommended adoption of such amendment after holding a public hearing
upon notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California, and
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of February, 2002, a Notice of Public Hearing was published
in the Redlands Daily Facts, and
WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the City Council declares that the proposed
amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare, and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of the
General Plan have been complied with,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands that
the amendment to the General Plan as recommended by the Planning Commission shall be adopted
as follows
AMENDMENT NO 79 TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
The Circulation Element of the General Plan is hereby amended to change the location and
configuration of Palmetto Avenue and Marigold Street and change the street designation of
Cahfornia Street between San Bernardino Avenue and Palmetto Avenue from a Major Arterial to
Minor Artenal as designated on Exhibit "A" attached hereto
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of March, 2002
