A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS PURSUANT TO TITLE 10 OF THE
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF
A STOP SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF PACIFIC AND RIDGE STREETS
WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies, the City Council of
the City of Redlands has determined that certain traffic regulations are necessary to protect the public
health, safety and welfare and should be established pursuant to Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal
Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
Sectionl . This City Council determines that approval of this Resolution is exempt from
review under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA Guidelines
section 15301(c) which provides exemption for minor alterations of existing public streets and
sidewalks. This City Council finds with certainty that installation of a stop sign at the streets identified
in this Resolution involves negligible or no expansion of an existing street use.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 10.36.010 of the Redlands Municipal Code, this City
Council hereby approves the installation of a stop sign at the intersection of Pacific and Ridge Streets.
Section 3. City staff is hereby directed to promptly install appropriate signs and markings
to implement this Resolution.
