HomeMy WebLinkAbout6065RESOLUTION NO 6065 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE REDLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, Chapter 3 16 of the Redlands Municipal Code authorizes this City Council to require the ascertainment of recovery of costs reasonably borne from fees and charges levied therefor in providing the regulation, products, or services, hereinafter enumerated, and WHEREAS, the Redlands Police Department is required to provide various reports, permits and other services to the public, and WHEREAS, the Redlands Police Department offers billed security services and the Senior Transportation Program, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows Section 1 The fees for the Redlands Police Department as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto are hereby adopted Section 2. The fees specified in Exhibit "A" and attached to this resolution shall become effective immediately upon the adoption of this resolution ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of September, 2002 Mayor, City of Redlands I, ATTEST Lorne Poyzer, City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the City council at a regular meeting thereof on the 3rd day of September, 2002, by the following vote AYES Councilmembers Peppier, Gilbreath, George, Harrison; Mayor Haws NOES None ABSENT None Lorr Poyzer, C RESOLUTION NO. 6065 EXHIBIT "A" Personnel Billed Overtime Rates The billed overtime rate for the positions of Police Officer, Police Corporal, Police Sergeant and Police Lieutenant shall be the present hourly rate at E step, plus all applicable benefits. The billed overtime rate for civilian positions hall be the present hourly rate at E step, plus all applicable benefits. Vehicle Rental User Groups. Group 1 City of Redlands/Public Agency City personnel (for departmental, city and/or regional business), Council members, Council appointed commissions, committees, and task forces; public agencies with reciprocal agreements. No fee. Group 2. Redlands Non-profit Organizations and Community Groups Registered nonprofit or charitable group with registered non-profit status with the State of California, complete with tax exempt identification number; community groups with free membership open to the general public; groups sponsoring activities open to the public free of charge. Fees noted below Group 3 All non-resident individuals or groups; other community groups, businesses and/or individuals; groups soliciting donations or charging admission; groups sponsoring activities closed to the general public. Fees noted below Per Vehicle Rental Rates: Group 2 Group 3 Van $1/mile plus fuel $5/mile plus fuel Bus $3/mile plus fuel $10/mile plus fuel Driver * $24/hour $24/hour Refundable Deposit $200 $200 * Redlands Police Department employees must drive rented vehicles. Senior Transportation Standard Trip Fee $1.50 each way 10 Trip Pass $15 00 each pass Monthly Pass $30.00 each pass Fees may be adjusted at the discretion of the City to accommodate special needs. This may include disabilities, income and/or grant discounts.
