HomeMy WebLinkAbout6105RESOLUZ ION NO 6105 A RESOLUTION OF THE CI FY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOP PING Ti IL EAS F VALLEY CORRIDOR SPECIFIC PLAN (SPECIFIC PLAN NO 40) WHEREAS, on January 3, 1989 the City Council of the City of Redlands adopted the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan, and WHEREAS, since its adoption, amendments to the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan have been made by ordinance, and WHEREAS, as pen -rutted by law, it is now the City Council's desire to re -adopt the East Valley Corridoi Specific Plan by resolution, and WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, it has been determined that the adoption of this resolution is exempt under CEQA, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS Section 1 The East Valley Corridoi Specific Plan (Specific Plan No 40), in the form attached as Exhibit "A," is hereby adopted Section 2 This Resolution shall take effect on February 20, 2003 ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of January, 2003 A FTES"I 6105 cvcsp.wpd 1 Mayoi of the City of Redlands 1, Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day ofJanuary, 2003, by the following vote AYES Councilmembers Peppier Gilbreath. George, Hamson, Mayor Haws NOES None ABSENT None ABSTAIN None Lo* Poyzer, City of Redland 2 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 974 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 24 TO SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 40 WHEREAS, on this 10th day of December 2002, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands finds as follows: 1 It is deemed advisable and desirable to repeal Specific Plan No. 40 the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan as an ordinance and re -adopt Specific Plan No. 40 as a resolution. 2. All provisions of the Redlands Municipal Code and the California Government Code of Regulations relating to the amendment of the specific plan have been complied with, including publication of a notice on the, 29t1 day of November 2002 and the holding of a public hearing on 10th day of December 2002. 3. That following the public hearing, the Planning Commission has determined that the health, safety and general welfare would be served by the proposed amendment to the Redlands Municipal Code. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1 That the Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City Council of the City of Redlands the adoption of Amendment No. 24 to Specific Plan No. 40, the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan on this 10' day of December 2002. CERTIFICATION I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true, and correct copy of a Resolution adopted by the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, in a regular meeting on December 10, 2002, and entered into the minutes of said Commission.
