HomeMy WebLinkAbout6069RESOLUTION NO 6069 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO 85, REVISING THE OFFICIAL LAND USE MAP OF THE REDLANDS GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has recommended an amendment to the official land use map of the Redlands General Plan, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No 955, after holding a public hearing upon notice in accordance with the Code of the State of California, and WHEREAS, Redlands Planning Commission Resolution No 955 has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands, and WHEREAS, on August 28 2002 a Notice of Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts, and WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the City Council declares that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare, and WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of the General Plan have been complied with, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands that the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Redlands Planning Commission in Resolution No 955 shall be adopted as follows AMENDMENT NO 85 TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS Change the General Plan land use designation from Low Density Residential (0 to 6 units per gross acre) to Office on two contiguous parcels generally located at 1259 Brookside Avenue, more specifically described in Exhibit "A," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of October, 2002 Mayor of the City of Redlands ATTEST Deputy City C erk 1 \ca\dim\Reso\6069 GPA 85 wpd I, Beatrice Sanchez, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of October, 2002, by the following vote AYES Councilmembers Peppler, Gilbreath, George, Harrison, Mayor Haws NOES None ABSENT None ABSTAIN None Beatrice Sanchez, Deputy Cfty C City of Redlands EXHIBIT "A" AMENDMENT NO 85 TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS of HIGH-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL BROOKSIDE AVE ter- NEIGHBORHOOD CO I MERCIAL LOW-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL OFFICE OFFICE.
