HomeMy WebLinkAbout5583RESOLUTION NO. 5583 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 67(C) REVISING THE OFFICIAL LAND USE MAP OF THE REDLANDS GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has prepared an amendment to the official land use map of the Redlands General Plan, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No. 889 after holding a public hearing upon notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, Redlands Planning Commission Resolution No 889 has been certified to the City Council of the City of Redlands; and WHEREAS, on the 25th day of November 1998 a Notice of Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts and the San Bernardino County Sun; and WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the City Council declares that the proposed amendment is in the interest of the public health, safety and general welfare' and WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code relating to the amendment of the General Plan have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands: That the amendment to the General Plan adopted by the Redlands Planning Commission in Resolution No. 889 shall be adopted as follows: AMENDMENT NO 67 (C) TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS Change the General Plan land use designation from Medium -Density Residential to Parks/Golf Courses on a triangular portion of land within the boundaries of an existing City park, located on the south side of Highland Avenue west of the El Carmelo Retreat, more specifically described in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
