FOR THE PROVISION OF PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT
This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement to provide public works
construction dated December 3rd, 2013, (the "Agreement"),by and between the City of Redlands, a
municipal corporation("City"), and Regency-Pacific Development Corp. ("Contractor"),is made and
entered into this 1st day of April, 2014 ("Effective Date").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Contractor to amend their existing Agreement,
specifically Section 2 entitled"The Contract Sum,"to increase Contractor's total compensation by Fifty
Nine Thousand Dollars ($59,000) for the performance of item No. 8, Additive"N';
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Contractor agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Section 2 of the Agreement,entitled"The Contract Sum,"is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"2.THE CONTRACT SUM: City shall pay Contractor the sum of$615,000 as consideration for
its performance of the Work in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract
Documents. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, Contractor has the option to deposit
securities with an escrow agent as a substitute for retention of earnings requirement to be withheld by
City pursuant to an escrow agreement as set forth in the Public Contract Code Section 22300."
Section 2. Contractor shall perform the additional services identified as follows:
Additive Bid"A"—Diesel Emergency Generator, described in the Contract Documents for the
Work.
Section 3. Within twenty (20) days of the Effective Date of this First Amendment,
Contractor shall provide City with a new Faithful Performance Bond and a new Labor and Materials
Bond, each in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the new contract sum.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties have executed this First Amendment,to be effective as of
April 1, 2014.
