TRANSITIONAL HOUSING SUPPORT SERVICES
This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the Agreement for the provision of
transitional housing support services ("Agreement") dated April 15, 2020, by and between the City
of Redlands, a municipal corporation and general law city ("City"), and Steps 4 Life Community
Services, a nonprofit organization ("Contractor"), is made and entered into this 4th day of May,
2021.

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Contractor to amend their existing Agreement,
to amend the operative term ending on June 30, 2023 to June 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Contractor to amend Section 4 of their existing
Agreement to increase Contractor's present total compensation of twenty thousand dollars
($20,000) to the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), for each City fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Contractor agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Section 1 of the Agreement, titled "Term," is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"The operative term of this Agreement shall be for period of time commencing on July 1,
2020, and ending on June 30, 2022, unless terminated earlier as provided herein."
Section 2. Section 4 of the Agreement, titled "Compensation and Payment," is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"The total compensation for Contractor's performance of the Services shall not exceed the
amount of twenty thousand dollars ($30,000) during each City fiscal year (July 1 through June 30)
of the term of this Agreement. Contractor shall submit monthly, invoices to City describing the
Services performed during the billing period. Contractor's invoices shall include a brief description
of the Services performed, for whom, and the dates the Services were performed. City shall pay
Contractor no later than thirty (30) days after receipt and approval by City of Contractor's invoice."
Section 3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this
Second Amendment and in effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective
as of May 4, 2021.
