HomeMy WebLinkAbout5138RESOLUTION NO. 5138 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4912 AND ESTABLISHING USER CATEGORIES AND CORRESPONDING FEES FOR USE OF CITY FACILITIES. WHEREAS, the City of Redlands, through its Administrative Service Department, operates the Redlands Community Center, the Redlands Senior Center, and the Joslyn Senior Center to provide its citizens with facilities at which they may participate in and enjoy various activities; and WHEREAS, the City of Redlands, through the Public Works Department, operates the Redlands Corporate Yard; and WHEREAS, these city facilities are intended to be used for city as well as individual and organized group activities; and WHEREAS, Chapter 12.44 of the Redlands Municipal Code authorizes this City Council to establish by resolution fees for use of city facilities; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows: Section 1. The user categories and corresponding fees for persons and groups making application to use city facilities as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto are hereby adopted. Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect on February 7 1995 ATTEST Facilities: Redlands Corporate Yard Redlands Community Center Redlands Senior Center Joslyn Senior Center User Groups: Group 1 EXHIBIT A. FACILITY RENTAL RATES Park Avenue 111 W Lugonia Avenue 111 W Lugonia Avenue 21 Grant Street City of Redlands/Public Agency City personnel (for departmental, city and/or regional business), Council appointed commissions, committees and task forces; public agencies with reciprocal agreements. No rental charge. Group 2. Non-profit Organizations and Community Groups Registered non-profit status with the State of California, complete with tax exempt identification number; community groups with free membership open to the general public; groups sponsoring activities open to the public free of charge. No rental charge. Group 3 All other community groups, businesses and/or individuals; groups soliciting donations or charging admission for activities; groups sponsoring activities closed to the general public. Charges as noted below Rooms: Gym Multipurpose Rooms Kitchens Arts & Crafts/Ceramics Rooms Sm. Classroom (CC ) Conference/Classrooms Pool Room (CC) Community Room (CC) Entire Building (JSC and CC) Group 3 $35/hour $25/hour $20 flat fee $10/hour $5/hour $10/hour $10/hour $15/hour $350 1-4 hours $20 ea. additional hour Miscellaneous Charges for All Groups: Attendant/Staff Supervision $10/hour after hours Refundable Cleaning Fee $200 flat fee Refunds will be issued less a 10% administrative fee Rental agreements may be negotiated for continuous use of facilities. The rates contained in these agreements may vary from the structure presented above, and shall be approved by City Council.
