A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING AMBULANCE RATES TO BE CHARGED WITHIN THE CITY OF
REDLANDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 572 OF THE REDLANDS
MUNICIPAL CODE AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO 4137
WHEREAS, Lifecare Medical Transportation provides ambulance service to the
citizens of Redlands under a franchise agreement with the City of Redlands; and
WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County Health Officer sets the maximum allowable
charges ambulance providers may change; and
WHEREAS, the fee schedule submitted for approval is below the maximum amount
that may be charged, and
WHEREAS, costs associated with operating an ambulance transport service has risen
since the last rate increase in 1988,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Redlands does hereby rescind Resolution No. 4137 and approve the fee schedule as shown on
the attached 'Exhibit A of this resolution as the maximum rates allowable for services
rendered by Lifecare Medical Transportation of Redlands, California.
