FULL RELEASE AND ASSIGNMENT
WHEREAS,Hartford Fire Insurance Company(hereinafter the Underwriter)is Surety on Policy
Number 72 BPE BV7810,in favor of City of Redlands,CA (hereinafter the Insured)in the
penalty of One hundred thousand and 00/100($100,000.00)Dollars,effective October 30,2002.
Said policy agrees to indemnify the Insured for Iosses sustained by it,among other things,due to
employee theft.
The insured represents it to be a fact that it has sustained a loss under said policy due to employee
theft by Misti Moore in the sum of Thirty thousand four hundred seventy-five and 761100
($30,475.76)Dollars,as more fully appears in and by its Proof of Loss sworn to on the 13th day
of September,2011.
NOW,THEREFORE,in consideration of the payment of the sum of Twenty-nine thousand
four hundred seventy-five and 76/100($29,475.76)Dollars to the Insured by the
Underwriter the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged:
(1) The Insured releases and discharges,and forever releases and discharges,the
Underwriter from any and all liability,claims,demands,debts,dues,accounts,
cause or causes of action of whatsoever kind or nature that it now has,has had,or
may hereafter have under said policy by reason of the aforementioned loss,
(2) The Insured has assigned and does hereby assign, sell,transfer and set over
to the Underwriter ail its right,title and interest in relation to any and all items
claimed in and by the said proof of loss,and all money that may be recovered by
reason thereof
(3) The Insured has appointed and does hereby appoint the Underwriter as its
attorney-in-fact to ask,demand,receive,receive for,and sue for, in the name of
the Insured or the Underwriter,and take any and all lawful ways and means for
the recovery of any and all such sums of money at the Underwriter's expense.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the Insured has caused these presents to be executed by its duly
authorized officer, fete Aguilar, Mayor ,and its corporate seal to be affixed and
duly attested by its City Clerk, Sam Irwin this 17th day of July ,
2012.
