COMMUNICATIONS
Council received a notice of a transfer of Alcoholic
Beverage Control license at 619 Gest State Street -

Councilman Miller react a communication from the CPAC
Committee for the Community Center. The letter recom-

Center center beginning in early 1978 and requested that "the
CPAC Recreation Commission and Recreation staff administer
the operations . " Council concurred that the setter be

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Ordinance No. 1580, an Ordinance of the City Council
amending the City Cade as relates to the City Manager
section, was tabled at the request of the Mayor, on
motion of Councilman Elliott, seconded by Councilwoman
Grace,
Ordinance No. 1595, an ordinance of the City of Redlands
regulating discharge wastes into the sewer system was
given second reading of the title and adopted on. motion
Ordinance of Councilman Miller, seconded by Counciman Elliott,
No. 1595 with waiver of the reading of the ordinance in full.,

CITY MANAGER
The City Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids for
the cleaving of approximately 46 thousand lineal. feet

given by AYE votes of all present, with funds to come

The necessary documents to provide for the realignment

Timoteo Canyon Road with the Southern Pacific Rail-
road.
3. An agreement which provides for the construction
and maintenance of a new crossing of the Southern
Pacific Railroad with San Timoteo Canyon Road.
Following discussion, an motion of Councilman Elliott,
seconded by Councilman Miller, these documents were
approved with the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to
sign as necessary. This motion was approved by AYE
votes of all present.
On motion of Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman
Bid Call Elliott, the City Clerk was authorized to advertise for
bids for purchase of one tandem axle d4esel truck and
Disposal one front-loader refuse body, with funds to come from
Department the Disposal budget. This motion was approved by AYE
votes of all present.
On motion of Councilwoman Grace, seconded by Councilman
Miller, a grant deed to the City from Mrs . Anna L. Dunn
Grant Deed as required for street right-of-way purposes in connec-

with the City Manager authorized to execute the certifi-
cate of acceptance.

Resolution Council adopted Resolution No. 3297, a resolution of
