HomeMy WebLinkAbout8216RESOLUTION NO 8216 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS APPROVING A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF TIME TO THE EXPIRATION DATE FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO 965 WHEREAS, Congregation Emanu-El, has submitted an application for a one-year extension of time for Conditional Use Permit No. 965, Revision No. 1 for the construction of an outdoor amphitheater and related improvements (new garden, a memorial wall, and dining patio) at the northern portion of the property located at 1495 Ford Street in the Residential PUD district of Specific Plan No. 23 and WHEREAS, on June 25, 2019 the Planning Commission held a public hearing and adopted Resolution No. 1463 approving Conditional Use Permit No. 965, Revision No. 1 and WHEREAS, the Redlands Municipal Code section 18.192.090 permits an applicant to seek a one-year extension of time for the expiration date of a conditional use permit, provided such extension of time are limited to three; and WHEREAS, applicant intends to develop the project and requests the extension to allow additional time to raise construction funding; and WHEREAS, following the hearing for the extension of time for Conditional Use Permit No. 965, Revision No. 1 the City Council determined that the approval of the requested one-year extension of time is in the best interests of the public health, safety and general welfare; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS Section 1. California Enviromnental Quality Act. Approval of this Resolution is exempt from further environmental review pursuant to section 15301 of the State Guidelines implementing the California Environmental Quality Act. Section 2. Conditional Use Permit Extension. The proposed one-year extension of time for Conditional Use Permit No. 965, Revision No. 1 is hereby approved in accordance with Redlands Municipal Code Section 18.192.090. The original findings for approval as contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 1463 are incorporated herein by reference in their entirety Section 3. Expiration Date. The new expiration date for Conditional Use Permit No. 965, Revision No. 1 shall be June 25, 2022. The project shall remain subject to all original conditions of approval contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 1463 Section 4. Effective Date.
