SUBJECT: Support of the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District's Application
Dear Ms. Abila.
The Inland Empire Resource Conservation District's is submitting a grant application to the
Department of Resources Recovery and Recycling Farm& Ranch Grant Program. The grant
would fund the cleanup of several parcels in the City of Redlands representing approximately
800 potential acres of agriculturally zoned land subject to such illegal disposal activities.
Because these illegal disposals represent blight in the City, the City Council of the City of
Redlands supports this application to the Department of Resources Recovery and Recycling
Farm &Ranch Grant Program by the District.
This grant will enhance the aesthetics of our community, which include scenic and historic acres
of agricultural land. The City of Redlands fully supports the grant proposal put forth by the
Inland Empire Resource Conservation District
