THE SPONSORING AGENT/ORGANIZATION AND REPRESENTATIVE IN CHARGE AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
A. INDEMNITY: The Sponsoring Organization agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the University of Redlands, its
agents, trustees, officers, employees, and students from all claims, losses, damages/ judgments, expenses, costs, and
shares of every kind and nature, both legal and otherwise, whether direct or indirect, by reason of personal injuries,
death, or property damage caused by or arising out of or occurring in connection with the Sponsoring Organization's

negligent use of Ulniversitv, facilities and services,
B. LIABILITY INSURANCE: The University requires Sponsoring Organization to carry comprehensive general liability
insurance listing the University, its agents, trustees, officers, employees, and students as ADDITIONAL NAMED
INSURED. The Sponsoring Organization's insurance will be considered primary and not contributim,,with the insurance
of the University, The University must receive a certificate of insurance issued by the carrier for General Liability
in the amount of two million dollars(2,000,000)per occurrence at least 14 days prior to facility rental dates.
C. Sponsoring Organization is responsible for the conduct of its members and guests using the facility and will be
financially responsible to reimburse the University of Redlands for all damage to the fields, buildings., furniture, fixtures,
or equipment which occurs during any scheduled activity of the Sponsoring Organization. Sponsoring Organization is
responsible for leaving the facility in appropriate condition and will be billed for the cost of any clean-up performed by
the University.
1). Sponsoring Organization agrees to abide by all rules and regulations of the University of Redlands and the laws for the
State of California and the United States of America, and to obey all rules and regulations promulgated by University
officials for the use of the property,
E. The following provisions will be allowed and provided for by the University of Redlands on the morning of Sunday,
October 17,2010. B-lainning at 6:00 a.m. and Ending no later than 2:00 p.m.
I. Use of Thompson Aquatic Center Pool to include lane lines, Patio, Men's Locker Room, Women's Locker Room.
L The use of'Fed Runner Stadium, home grandstand side only restroorns prior to the start of the event.
7. Field House parking, North Chapel parking South Chapel parking and Stadium parking, The North Chapel parking
lot will be closed at noon on Saturday,October 16,20010 contingent upon no other scheduled usage.
4. Lllqe of East Road, West Road, Fraternitv Row, Alumni House Hill, and Administration Hill.
5. Allow use of electricity in selected areas,
F. The University of Redlands will provide the following:
1. Lifeguard services at Thompson Aquatic Center. (expenses paid by event)
2. Provide adequate personnel and volunteers to act as course marshal on campus, assist in administration of"Day of
registration and check in,assist timing crew and finish line section,work the aide station on the corner of Colton and
Grove, and other duties as necessary the day of the event.
3. Assist in posting"No Parking"signs on the campus forty-eight(48)hours before the event.
4. Thompson Aquatic Center,parking lots and other facilities clean-up crews.
5. The University will contract Sodexo to clean the Thompson Aquatic Center Locker Rooms and Ted Runner Stadium
home side restrooms following the conclusion of the event(expenses paid by event)
G. The following provisions will not be provided for or be allowed to occur by the University of Redlands:
1. NO access to the Field House Locker Rooms or Restroom facilities.
2. NO access to TRS Ashel Cunningham Track or north (visitor) side restroom facilities.
3. NO access to Fitness Center
4. NO access to Athletic Training Room,
5. NO access to the Memorial Chapel
H. The City of Redlands will provide the following services:
I. Close streets throughout the City of Redlands and provide barricades, "No Parking" signs, and directional guides
throughout the Run and Bike course.
2. Contract with Prime Time for all timing,finish line,and transition area equipment.
3. Provide police officers,volunteers, and C. V.P.'s to act as course marshals off the University of Redlands property,
administer "Day Of' registration and check-ins, assist timing crew and finish Iine section and other duties as
necessary the day of the event,
4. Provide ambulance and first aid services.
5. Provide snow fencing and fence off bushes around Thompson Aquatic Center as well as transition area in the North
Chapel parking lot,
6. Maintain event website.
7. Print out posters and other promotional aides.
8. Maintain on-line registrations.
I. The University of Redlands bears no expense for any publicity, advertising, or other expenses. All expenses incurred
during the organization, execution and clean-up of the event will be submitted to the event organizer(City of Redlands)
and paid prior to the disbursement of proceeds. The University may be listed as the event site in all promotional
materials and advertising,but shall not be represented as a sponsor, co-sponsor, or anent for the event.
A fee will be assessed to groups who are not directly associated with the University of Redlands. For a list of rental fees,
contact the Athletic Facilities Coordinator at (909) 748-8023. 'Upon approval of the request, a copy of the form will be
mailed/faxed to the representative in charge and will serve as confirmation of rental request and as a statement of fees
charged.
Amount due$ Payment is due no later than the first date of facility rental.
