WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS
Walmart Stores, Inc., the undersigned, is the applicant (the "Applicant") for
Conditional Use Permit No. 945 and Tentative Parcel Map No. 1.9060 the
"Entitlements") and by this letter hereby voluntarily waives any right the Applicant may
have, now or in the future, to require the City of Redlands to prepare and complete an
environmental impact report pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act within
any particular time frame. The Applicant is aware of, and has read the provisions of,
Public Resources Code Section 21.151.5 and Section 15108 of Title 14 of the California
Code of Regulations and, by executing this Waiver and Release of Claims expressly
waives any rights the Applicant may have to enforcement of the foregoing identified
Provisions of law against the City of Redlands.
The Applicant expressly waives any rights it may have pursuant to Civil Code
Section 1542 which reads:
A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTENT TO CLAIMS WHICH
THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST AT
THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF KNOWN BY

City of Redlands and its elected officials, officers and employees from and against an
