TO THE CALIFORNIA PEM41T STREAMLINING ACT
Walton Development, LLC is the developer ("Developer") of approximately 42.5 acres
of real property for which Developer is seeking approval for the proposed revision of Tentative
Tract Map Nos. 16465 and 16627 and Conditional Use Permits 809 and 819 (the "Entitlements"),
in connection with the construction of a residential subdivision. Developer has requested a
ninety (90) day extension of time as permitted by the California Permit Streamlining Act for the
City of Redlands' consideration of the Entitlements, and the City hereby consents to that ninety
(90) day extension.
Developer also expressly waives any rights it may have in connection with its request for,
and the granting of, this time extension,pursuant to Civil Code Section 1542 which reads:
A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE
CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER
FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF
KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS
OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR.
Developer shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City and its elected officials,
officers and employees from and against any and losses, damages, causes of action
and liability that the City by subject to, or may incur as a result of the City's grant of the time
extension and reliance upon this Request for Time Extension from Developer.
In the event any action is commenced by the City to enforce or interpret any of the
provisions of this Request for Time Extension, the City shall be entitled to recover, in addition to
its costs and other relief, its reasonable attorneys' fees, which include fees for the use of "in-
house" counsel by the City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Agreement on the dates
shown belay.
