GRANT OF EASEMENT
THE GRANTOR, THE, REDEVELOPMI,NT AGENCY OF, THE CITY OF REDLANDS, a public body corporate
and politic, hereby -rants to the GENERAL TELEPHONE COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation,
hereinafter referred to as GRANTEE, its successors and assigns, an easement to construct,
use, wa-intain, operate, alter, add to, repair, replace, and/or remove its facilities con-
sistino of underground conduits, manholes, cables, wire, and appurtenances, for the
transmission of electric energy for communication and other purposes over, in, under,
across, and along that certain real property situated in the County of San Bernardino,
State of California, described as follows:
The Southerly five (5) feet of Lots 1 to 12 inclusive in Block B, Orange Grove Addition
as per plat recorded in Book 4, Page 38, of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder
of said San Bernardino County.
THE GRANTEE, its successors and assigns and their respective agents and employees, shall
have the right of ingress to and egress from said easement and every part thereof, at all
times, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted and shall have the right to
remove such growth as may endanger or interfere with the use of said easement. Such rights
shall be reasonably exercised and the Grantee shall be liable for any damage negligently
done by it to the above described property.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Agency has caused this easement to be duly executed in
its behalf and its seal to be hereunto affixed and attested on or as the. day and year
first above written.

Said Grantor hereby warrants all title and interest herein conveyed, that it is the owner of the telephone
property conveyed with full right to convey, that said telephone property is free of encumbrances, and that
GENERAL TELEPIiONE COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA shall have quiet enjoyment of said telephone property.
IN WITNESS WIJEREOF, said Grantor has caused its corporate name and seal to be affixed and these,

Enclosed are the originals and one copy of a Grant of Easement and a Bill of
Sale which, when properly executed, will provide our Company with the right
to install and maintain communication facilities within Lots 1 to 12 inclus-
ive of :Block B, Orange Grove Addition.
This easement and Billcf Sale is for the conduit placed adjacent to the alley
south of Citrus Avenue.
If these documents meet with your approval, it will be appreciated if you
will have the originals executed before a Notary Public and return them to
this office in the endlosed business-reply envelope. The copies may be
retained for your records.
Your cooperation in promptly returning the originals of these documents
will be appreciated and will enable us to schedule engineering and con-
struction work so that our facilities may be placed in an orderly manner.
