MEMORANDUM OF CANCELLATION OF LEASE
THIS MEMORANDUM OF CANCELLATION OF LEASE is made
and entered into by and between the City of Redlands, a
municipal corporation ( "Lessor" ) and the Lockheed Corpora-
tion ( "Lessee" ) .
Lessor and Lessee are the parties to that certain
real property lease dated January 12, 1954 ( the "Lease" )
involving approximately 27.9 acres of real property located
in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, more
particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated by reference.
On April 4, 1978 the parties executed a document
entitled Fourth Amendment To Lease and Agreement for the
Purchase and Sale of Real Propert , which document provided
for the cancellation of the Lease, effective April 30 ,
1978 . Reference is made to said Fourth Amendment to Lease
and Agreement for the Purchase and Sale of Real Property
(which by this reference is incorporated herein) for further
particulars.
The parties desire by this Memorandum of Cancella-
tion of Lease to document for recordation the aforementioned
cancellation of lease.

Legal Description
All that portion of Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Block 13
and Lot 2 of Block 19 of STRETCH MAP OF MENTONE, as
per plat recorded in Book 8 of Maps, Page 81 , in
the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino,
State of California, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the centerline of Madeira
Avenue, said point being South 890 59 ' 07" East
3040 feet from the centerline of Crafton Avenue;
thence North 935 feet; thence East 120 feet ; thence
North 170 feet; thence North 300 00 ' 00" West
70 feet; thence North 55 feet to a point located
20 feet South of the centerline of a paved private
road, known as Seventh Street; ( 24 feet paved
width) , said point is also 100 feet more or less
South of the South line of Section 17, Township 1
South, Range 2 West, S.B.B.&M; thence Westerly
along a line parallel to and 20 feet South of the
centerline of said Seventh Street and parallel to
the South line of said Section 17 , 950 feet more or
less to a point on a line which bears North
00 00 ' 53" East from a point in the centerline of
Madeira Avenue, located North 890 59 ' 07" West
2155 feet from the intersection of the centerline
of Crafton Avenue and Madeira Avenue; thence South
000 00 ' 53". West 1212 feet more or less to a point
on the centerline of Madeira Avenue; located
2165 feet East of the centerline of Crafton Avenue;
thence South 89° 47 ' 42" East 875 feet to the point
of beginning.
