EASEMENT
EASEMENT, made this day of 19_1, from SAN
BERNARDINO ASSOCIATED GOVERNMENTS, a public agency existing under
the authority of the laws of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as
"SANBAG", to CITY OF REDLANDS, a Municipal Corporation duly organized in
accordance with laws of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "Grantee".
FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
SANBAG hereby GRANTS to Grantee an Easement for public street, highway, and/or public
utility purposes upon, over, and across the following described real property:
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT"A"AND EXKIBIT "B"
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING the right, to be exercised by SANBAG, and by any other
who have obtained, or may obtain, permission or authority from SANBAG to do so, (a) to
operate, maintain, renew and/or relocate any and all existing railroad track or tracks, wires, fiber
optic cables, pipes, and other facilities of like character upon, over, or under the surface of the
hereinabove described premises; and(b) from time to time to construct, operate,maintain, renew
and/or relocate upon said premises additional facilities of the character described in Clause (a) of
this paragraph, consistent with the rights granted herein, without in any instance being required
to obtain the consent of Grantee the same as if this easement had not been executed.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said easement unto Grantee solely for public street, highway,
and/or public utility purposes so long as the premises hereinabove described shall be so used,
subject, however, to all licenses, leases, easements, restrictions, reservations, conditions,
covenants, encumbrances, rights and rights of way, liens and claims of title -which may in
anywise affect the said premises and subject, also, to the express condition subsequent that if said
premises, or any portion hereof, shall cease to be used for the purposes above stated, then, and in
that event, the easement hereby given shall, as to such portion, or portions, as the case may be,
thereupon cease and determine and SANBAG, its successors and assigns, shall resume
possession thereof the same as though this instrument had not been executed.
This Instrument is given without warranty of title of any kind, express or implied, and no
covenant of warranty of title shall be implied from the use of any word or words herein
contained.
In case of the eviction of Grantee by anyone owning, or claiming title to or any interest in the
premises hereinabove described. SANBAG shall not be liable to Grantee for any damage of any
nature whatsoever.

EXHIBIT A"
The following describes a 126.00 foot wide and 50.00 foot long easement for street purposes
to the City of Redlands over, under and across those portions of Lot 1 of Block and Lot 1 of
Block 2 of La Drew Subdivision per map recorded in Book 12, page 44 of maps and portions
of Lots 2 thm 4 of Block 2 of H. L. Williams Tract per map recorded in Book 11, page 17 of
maps, both are records of San Bernardino County in the State of California, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of California Street (also known as Pennsylvania
Avenue per La Drew Subdivision) and fifty foot (50.00') wide property owned by San
Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) per quitclaim deed instrument number 93-
137043 recorded in March 30, 1993, formerly Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
as shown on Parcel Map 13542 recorded in Book 152, pages 48 and 49, records of said County
and State;
Thence S00'23'48"E(also shown as S00'23'40"E per PM 6611), 25.40 feet along the centerline
of California Street to a point on the south right-of-way line of the property owned by
SANBAG, said south right-of-way line being parallel to the centerline of said property, also said
point being the point of beginning;
Thence S89"34'16"W (also shown as S89'34'24"W per PM 6611) along the south right-of-way
line of said property, 63.00 feet,
Thence N00'23'48"W also being parallel to the centerline of California Street, 50.00 feet;
Thence N89°34'16"E along the north right-of-way line of the property owned by SANBAG, said
line also being parallel to the centerline of said property, 126.00 feet;
Thence S00'23'48"E. 50.00 feet to the most northwesterly comer of Lot 3 of said PM 13542
also said point being on the south right-of-way line of the property owned by SANBAG;
Thence S89'34'16"W, 63.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM those portions of California Street that were previously dedicated
to the City of Redlands.
