That portion of Sub Lot 9 of Lots 9 and 10 of the Map of East Redlands, in the
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as recorded in book 7 of Maps,
page 47, in the Office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, State of
California, and that portion of 5th Avenue, as vacated by Resolution No. 4134,
recorded January 9, 1986 as Instrument No. 86006932, described as follows:
COMMENCING at the Southwest corner of Section 25, Township 1 South, Range 3 West,
San Bernardino Base & Meridian; thence North 89° 40' 45" East along the South line
of said Section 25, 441.82 feet to an intersection of said line with the centerline
of the Bear VAlley Canal, as said Bear Valley Canal is shown on maps on file in the
office of the Bear Valley Irrigation Company, said point being the true point of
beginning; thence along the centerline of said Bear Valley Canal, North 14° 00' 24"
East, shown as North 140 471 15" East by said map on file with the Bear Valley
Irrigation Company, 135.89 feet to a tangent curve, concave to the Southeast and
having a radius of 60.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 36° 25' 06" an arc distance of 38.14 feet; thence continuing

also shown on Record of Survey recorded in book 65 of Surveys, page 20, records of
said County; thence South 89° 40' 45" West along said centerline 62.52 feet to a point

lying on a curve concave to the South and having a radius of 113.23 feet; thence
Northwesterly along said curve from an initial tangent that bears North 56° 32' 21"
West through a central angle of 61° 45' 32", an arc distance of 122.05 feet to a point
of compound curve, said compound curve being concave to the Southeast and having a
radius of 206.35 feet; thence Southwesterly along said curve through a central angle
of 3° 18' 20", an arc distance of 11.91 feet to an intersection of the Northerly
right of way line of said Farview Lane and the said centerline of Fifth Avenue; thence

RESOLUTION NO. 4152
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DECLARING THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IS SURPLUS AND IS NOT
REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE AND ORDERING THE SALE OF SAID
PROPERTY
The City Council of the City of Redlands does resolve as
follows:
SECTION ONE: A portion of the subject property was
purchased with Gas Tax funds to provide right-of-way for the
realignment of Fifth Avenue and Fairview Lane. The surplus
property is the remnant and a portion of old Fifth Avenue.
The subject property is now deemed surplus to the needs of
the City of Redlands, and said property is more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" attached thereto.
SECTION TWO: The City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby finds and determines that certain property owned by
the City is surplus, that it is not necessary for present or
prospective public purposes, and that its sale would be for
the common benefit.
SECTION THREE: That the City Manager of the City of
Redlands be authorized to negotiate the sale of the property
after following all mandated legal procedures.
SECTION FOUR: That the Mayor and the City Clerk of the
City of Redlands, upon completion of the sale, be authorized
to execute a grant deed on behalf of the City of Redlands for
sale of said property.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day of February,
1986.
