CITY OF REDLANDS, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Grantor"), hereby grants to
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation, its successors and assigns (hereinafter referred to as
"Grantee"), an easement and right of way to construct, use, maintain, operate, alter, add to, repair,
replace, reconstruct, inspect and remove at any time and from time to time underground electrical supply
systems and communication systems (hereinafter referred to as "systems") consisting of wires, underground
conduits, cables, vaults, manholes, handholes, and including above-ground enclosures, markers and concrete
pads and other appurtenant fixtures and equipment necessary or useful for distributing electrical energy
and for transmitting intelligence by electrical means, in on, over under, across and along that certain
real property in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, Described as follows:
A portion of Parcel No. 1 of Parcel Map 9105, in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, as
per plat recorded in Book 95 of Parcel Maps, pages 98 and 99, Records of said County, described as

The West 10.00 feet of the East 144.00 feet of the South 50.00 feet of Parcel No. 1 of said M
Parcel Map 9105. '
The Grantor agrees for itself, its successors and assigns not to erect, place or maintain, nor to
permit the erection, placement or maintenance of any building, planter boxes, earth fill or other "' 'a
structures except walls and fences or the above described real property. The Grantee, and its ;; 1
contractors, agents and employees, shalt have the right to trim or cut tree roots as may endanger or
interfere with said systems and shall have free access to said systems and every part thereof, at all
times, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted; provided, however, that in making any 2 +
excavation on said property of the Grantor(s), the Grantee shall make the same in such a manner as will IX
cause the least injury to the surface of the ground around such excavation, and shall replace the earth so � (M

No. 4128, a resolution of the C-Cty Council of the City of

Redlands amending the Agricultu,, .,' ePresrve Boundaries and

unanimc;usly approved on motion of Councilmember DeNlirjyn,
seconded by Couricilmernber
Elly Contract. Councilmember DeNlirjyn moved to authorize the Mayor to sign a
contract with the Planning Group for an Environmental Impact
Report for the Arroyo Estates Specific Plan. Motion seconded by
Councilmember Larsen and carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
Claim On motion of Councilmember Ile Nlir jyn, seconded by
Councilmember Larsen, the claim of Cornelia R. Melcher, in an
amount yet to be determined, was unanimously found not to be
a proper charge against the City and therefore rejected.
Bid Report On November 19, 1985, at 10:00 A.N1. , the City Clerk operied
bids for the purchase of paving materials for the calendar year
Paving 1986. One bid was received from Industrial Asphalt of San
Materials Bernardino. Under the terms of the proposal, each bid must be
accompanied by a bidder's bond in the amount of $1, 500. 00.
The bid submitted by Industrial Asphalt did not include the
required bid bond and is therefore considered non-responsible.
The Public Works Department recommends rejecting the blid
received from Industrial Asphalt on November 1.9, 1985, and
authorize readvertising for bids for paving materials for 1986.
On motion of Councilmember DeMirjyn, seconded by
Councilmember Larsen, this recommendation of the Public Works
Department was unanimously approved.
Resolution Resolution No. 4126, a resolution of intention to vacate a
No. 4126 portion of Coulston Avenue and setting public hearing for
December 37, 1985, at 7:00 P.M. , was unanimously adopted on
Coulston motion of Councillmember DeMirjyn, seconded by Cloy.ncillmember
Avenue Larsen.
Bid Call Councilmember Larsen moved to authorize the City Clerk to
advertise for proposals for the Weed Abatement and Waste
Weed Removal contract aftei, cautioning staff to review the bids for
Abatement proper licensing. Motion seconded by Councilmember DeNlirjyn
and carried unanimously.
Easement Councilmember DeMirjyn moved to authorize granting of an
Access Easement to Southern California Edison Company at
Fire Station 10 West Pennsylvania Avenue (Fire Station No. 3) and to
No. 3 authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign on behalf of the
City. Motion seconded by Councilmember Larsen and carried
unanimously.
