A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISH A RIGHT -TURN ONLY LANE AND LEFT -TURN POCKET ON
SOUTHBOUND EUREKA STREET AT BROOKSIDE AVENUE PURSUANT
TO TITLE 10 OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, pursuant to studies made under the authority of Title 10 of the Redlands
Municipal Code, and the presentation of information contained in such studies, the City Council of
the City of Redlands ("this City Council") has determined that certain traffic regulations are necessary
to protect the public health, safety and welfare and should be established pursuant to Title 10 of the
Redlands Municipal Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 This City Council determmes that approval of this Resolution is exempt from
environmental review under California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to State
CEQA Guidelines section 15301(c) which provides exemption for minor alterations of existing public
streets and sidewalks This City Council finds with certainty that the improvements involve negligible
or no expansion of an existing use
Section 2 Pursuant to Section 10 28 020 of the Redlands Municipal Code
1 Establish a nght-turn only lane on southbound Eureka Street at Brookside Avenue,
2 Install a left -turn pocket on southbound Eureka Street at Brookside Avenue,
3 Install a one hundred seventy five foot (175 ft) "No parking zone" on southbound
Eureka Street at Brookside Avenue.
4 City staff is hereby authonzed and directed to post the appropnate signage, striping
and effectuate the necessary markings to implement this resolution
