LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE QUITCLAIM DEED TO BE EXECUTED BY THE CITY OF
REDLANDS TO ALBERT A. VALDORA AND MARY F. VALDORA
The City of Redlands hereby quitclaims all right, title and interest
to the Mill Creek Zanja over, under and across that portion of Block
1, of the BARTON RANCH, in the County of San Bernardino, State of
California, as per Map recorded in Book 6 of Maps, Page 19, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County, that portion of Block 1
being described as follows :
BEGINNING at a point on the North line of Barton Avenue, distant North
88' 15 ' West, 1052 . 30 feet from its intersection with the centerline
of New Jersey Street; thence North 88 ° 15 ' West 100 feet along said
North line of Barton Avenue to the Southeast corner of the land
conveyed to Mission Citrus Association, a Corporation, by deed
recorded October 10, 1912 in Book 507, page 381 of Deeds, records of
said County; thence North along the East line of said land and its
Northerly prolongation 440 feet to its intersection with the Easterly
prolongation of the North line of the Land conveyed to Mission
Protective Association by Deed recorded November 14 , 1927 in Book 295,
page 233 , Official Records; thence along said prolongation and said
North line North 88 ° 15 ' West 164 feet, more or less, to the West line
of Section 29, Township 1 South, Range 3 West, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian; thence North along said West line 402 . 13 feet to a point in
the centerline of Mill Creek Zanja; thence along said centerline South
67 ' 13 ' East 153 . 89 feet; thence South 700 53 ' East 132 . 99 feet;
thence South 748 .35 feet to the Point of Beginning.
NOTE: Property hereinbefore described are all shown on Licensed Land
Surveyor Map, recorded in Book 4 , page 65, Records of Survey.
EXCEPT THEREFROM that portion conveyed to the County of San Bernardino
by deed recorded May 8 , 1971 in Book 7669 , page _228 , Official Records.
TOGETHER WITH that portion of California Street abandoned by the
County of San Bernardino, by Instrument recorded October 17, 1972 in
Book 8042 , page 846 Official Records .
