No. 4665 Larson, Resolution No. 4665, a resolution of the City Council of
the City of Redlands establishing a no parking zone at 1205 and
Traffic 1225 West Redlands Boulevard and a four-way stop at the
intersection of Orange Tree Lane and Nevada Street, pursuant to
Title 10 of the Redlands Municipal Code, was unanimously adopted.
Appointment On motion of Councilmember Beswick, seconded by Councilmember
Larson Jeff Owens was unanimously appointed to a four--year term
Cultural Arts on the Cultural Arts Commission effective January 6, 1990,
Resolution Following brief discussion, on motion of Councilmember Larson,
No. 4666 seconded by Councilmember Beswick, Resolution No. 4666, a
resolution of the City of Redlands approving the submission of
AB 4298 letters opposing AB 4298 as it does not meet the long term plan of
the City of Redlands for recycling and the mandates of AB 939 to
recycle 25 percent of the waste by 1995 and 50 percent by 2000.
Watermain On motion of Councilmember Beswick, seconded by Councilmember
Easements,-,." Larson, Council unanimously approved a quitclaim deed for
watermain easements across property in Mentone now under
development by John Laing Homes, Tract No. 10051.
Surplus On motion of Councilmember Beswick, seconded by Councilmember
Equipment Larson, Council unanimously approved the transfer of equipment
No. 442, a surplus 1973 CAT 920 loader, from surplus stock to the
Solid Waste Division's landfill as it is no longer adequate for the
needs of the Street Division.
Resolution Following a discussion about the resale of lots, crypts, or niches
No. 4651 by an individual, Councilmember Larson moved to delete Section 1,
Paragraph (b) , of Resolution No. 4651 and to adopt said resolution
Cemetery with the deletion. Motion seconded by Councilmember Beswick and
Rules carried unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at
7: 31 P.M. to an adjourned regular meeting to be held on Tuesday,
June 26, 1990, at 8:00 A.M. in the City Hall Conference Room,
30 Cajon Street, Redlands, California.
