The Parking Authority for the City of Redlands was established o!
January 18, 1966 with the adoption of Resolution No. 2499 and fu
clarified by Resolution No. 2598, in accordance with the Parking
of 1949.
The governing body of the Parking Authority is the City Council,
Mayor Burroughs elected as chairman at the time of organization.
4: 00 P.M. on the third Tuesday of the month was set as the regul
meeting time.
The Parking Authority meets for the first time this date, and is
vened to receive a financial feasibility report prepared for the
'by the firm of Stone and Youngberg regarding proposed parking pri
financed by the issuance of revenue bonds.
Mr. Edward J. Hyland presented a comprehensive study of three pri
projects and outlined methods of financing .
The Authority discussed costs, turn-over rates, validation, capes,
and potential income, and past experience. Following lengthy co:

There being no further business, the Authority adjourned, on motion,
at 5: 30 P.M.
