The minutes of the regular meeting held July 18, 1967 were appro%
submitted.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Manager Merritt reported on the implementation of the Stone and
Youngberg recommendations for financing parking projects, the tin
ule for this, and informal discussions with the Redlands Security
pany.

Resolution No. 2. He stressed the advantages of obtaining this property
and assured the Authority that the Parking Place Commission would stand
behind this purchase. Also speaking in favor of this acquisition was
Mr, Zafon Hartman of the Downtown Redlands Association.
on motion of Councilman Martinez, seconded by Councilman DeMirjyn, the
Authority accepted the request of the Board of Parking Place Commission-
ers for land acquisition of Parcel No. 501-171-052-19, and will refer
this to the City Council with recommendation that this purchase be made.
There being no further business, the Authority adjourned, on motion, at
5: 00 P.M.
