This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for professional services
associated with the City of Redlands' America's Water Infrastructure Act Risk and Resilience
Assessment and Emergency Response Plan dated the 21 st day of July, 2020 ("Agreement"), by
and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation ("City"), and Carollo Engineers, Inc ,
a Delaware corporation ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 20th day of July, 2021
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement,
specifically to extend the date for termination of the Services to December 31, 2021 and make
certain administrative changes,
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree as follows
AGREEMENT
Section 1 Section 3 2 of the Agreement, titled "Responsibilities of City," is hereby
amended to read as follows
"3 2 City designates John R Harris, Municipal Utilities and Engineering Department
Director, as City's representative with respect to performance of the Services, and such person
shall have the authority to transmit instructions, receive information, interpret and define City's
policies and decisions with respect to performance of the Services "
Section 2 Section 4 2 of the Agreement, titled "Performance of Services," is hereby
amended to read as follows
"4 2 Consultant shall complete the Services by December 31, 2021, unless the Services
are terminated earlier as provided for herein "
Section 3 All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and in effect
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective
as of July 20, 2021
