Hein, Redlands Daily .Facts Chuck Palmer, San Bernardino Sun SENT None Chairman Cummings called the meeting to order for the purpose of hearing a presentation from Mr. Massey Ferrera, Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of gg #yt t Santa Fe Springs. 4 Mr. Herrera detailed, by steps, the develop- AM ment of the 65-acre project in Santa Fe Springs, a city with a population of 15,000. The project included rehabilitation of 60 sub- standard homes and the removal of 100. Mr, Herrera described the fund sources and the federal grants available for a project of this type. The work has taken five years, and is nearing completion. Following the presentation, Chairman Cummings thanked Mr. Herrera for taking the time to visit Redlands.
