Chairman Cummings called the meeting to order
for the purpose of hearing a presentation
from Mr. Massey Ferrera, Executive Director
of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of

t Santa Fe Springs.

Mr. Herrera detailed, by steps, the develop-
AM
ment of the 65-acre project in Santa Fe Springs,
a city with a population of 15,000. The
project included rehabilitation of 60 sub-
standard homes and the removal of 100.
Mr, Herrera described the fund sources and
the federal grants available for a project
of this type. The work has taken five years,
and is nearing completion.
Following the presentation, Chairman Cummings
thanked Mr. Herrera for taking the time to
visit Redlands.
There being no further business, the Redevelopment
Agency adjourned.
