ABSENT None
At the Redevelopment Agency Meeting of July 18,
1972, the Agency referred the Redlands Redevel-
opment Plan to the Planning Commission for
consideration.
At their meeting of July 25, 1972, the Planning
Commission unanimously adopted Resolution R.P.C.
No. 376 approving the redevelopment plan for
the Redlands Redevelopment Project. The staff
has added a report which describes the reasons
for selection of the project area, includes a
description of the physical, social, and economic
conditions, proposed method of financing, a
plan for the relocation of families and persons
to be displaced, an analysis of the preliminary
plan, the report and recommendation of the
Planning Commission, and safeguards and
restrictions.
Mr. Merritt, Acting Executive Director,
recommended that the Agency authorize him to
forward these documents to the City Council for
consideration and to ask Council to set a time
and place for a public hearing on the Redevelopment
wry: Plan. On motion of Dr. Miller, seconded by Mr.
Sewall, the Acting Exe-cutive Director was unani-
mously authorized to proceed with this action.
Resolution On motion of Mr. Knudsen, seconded by Dr.
