Knudsen, Member This meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was called for this time for the purpose of receiving letters of disclosure of interest in property within the Redevelopment Area, and the purpose of formally appointing a Secretary and Acting Secretary. Mr. Merritt explained that the Rules of Procedure ch of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands, adopted by the Agency on April 5, 1972, Appointment state that, "A Secretary shall be appointed by Agency the Agency" , and that he believed it practical Secretary that the City Clerk should serve as the Agency Secretary. an motion of Mr. Sewall, seconded by Mr. DeMirjyn, City Clerk Peggy Moseley was appointed Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency, retroactive to February, 1972, with Deputy City Clerk as Acting Secretary, by AYE votes of all present. Mr. Merritt cited Sections 33130 and 33130.5 of the Community Redevelopment Law, State of Cali- fornia, which require any agency or community officer or employee who owns or has any direct or indirect financial interest in any property ANSIw in the redevelopment project area to make a written disclosure of this fact to the Agency and the Council, which notice shall be entered in the minutes. All agency and community officers and employees involved in the formation or approval of the redevelopment project area have been advised of this requirement in writing. Three individuals have submitted written disclosures . They are: Disclosures Councilman Chresten M. Knudsen, Planning of Interest Commission Chairman Edwin R. Hales, Planning Commission Vice Chairman John Runkel. These disclosures have been reviewed by the City Attorney who believes that the requirements of the Redevelopment Law have been complied with. On motion of Mr. DeMirjyn, seconded by Dr. Miller, the disclosures have been accepted by AYE votes of all present. In the informal discussion which ensued, it was discovered that other individuals do own property. It was then moved by Mr. DeMirjyn, seconded by Mr. Sewall, that this disclosure of Dr. Miller also be accepted. Motion carried by AYE votes of all present.
