He added that Mr. Brown and Mr. Klosterman are present in the audience. City Attorney Taylor read the letter which requests that the McEwen Furniture Company and the Sequoia-Pacific Realty Corporation be appointed developers for portions of the six-block area recently added to the project. The time schedule for each area was outlined by Mr. Taylor and he described the other requirements established by law. The members concurred that this is essen- tially the same agreement as was adopted for the first property. Development - Mr. Brown explained that a tax increment study would establish the price of the land. In answer to Mr. DeMirjyn` s question about the possibility of excluding a parcel within the Redevelopment Project area, Mr. Brown explained that this is not successful in a development of this size. C1 ANv Following discussion Mr. Knudsen moved that the Yr Redevelopment Agency name the McEwen Company as developers for their specified parcel, and the Sequoia-Pacific Realty Corporation as developers for their specified property, subject to approval of the tax increment bond payment capability, with the time schedule as read in the letter by Mr. Taylor, and with the Redevelopment Director authorized to sign the documents as necessary. Motion was seconded by Dr . Miller, and unanimously carried. Mr. DeMirjyn stated that one year ago it was determined that in March of 1974 a progress report would be made to Council. He asked that the report contain appraisals, progress in establishing individual businesses, and an overall statement of "where the project is" . This was agreed for the first meeting in March. There being no further business, the Redevelopment Agency adjourned, on motion.
