Hein, Redlands Daily Facts Chuck Palmer, San Bernardino Sun ABSENT None Redevelopment Director Merritt reminded Council that in his memo dated May 17 he pointed out the necessity of expediting the move of the McEwen Furniture Company. The property on which they will relocate is now occupied by Mr. Guggisberg` s Relocating automobile display. Automobile Display In order to make a temporary location on city property available for the automobile display, on motion of Dr. Miller, seconded by Mr. Knudsen, unanimous authorization was given for expenditure of $1, 000 for clean-up and lighting for the parcel of city property located on Eureka Street on the south side of Redlands Boulevard. Mr. Merritt explained that the sale of bonds requires the services of a treasurer for the Agency, Appointment and recommended the appointment of Mr. Marion Treasurer Poyzer, City of Redlands Treasurer. Mr. Merritt added that City Attorney Taylor has stated that no conflict of interest is involved in this duty assignment. On motion of Mr. DeMirjyn, seconded. by Mr. Knudsen, appointment of Mr. Marion Poyzer was unanimously approved, with additional compen- sation of $100 per month authorized. Mr. Taylor enters the chambers at this time. Mr. Taylor explained the necessity for both the Agency and. the Council to hold public hearings g on the Lease Agreement between the City and the Redevelopment Agency for the parking facilities, and on the Disposition and Development Agreement between the Redevelopment Agency and Mr. Flov,.-ard E. Connor, Developer. On motion of Mr. DeMirjyn, seconded by Mr. Knudsen, public hearing was set and authorized for advertisement for 7:00 P.M. on June 4, 1974 as required in Section 33431 of the Health and Safety Code.
