PRESENT Jack B. Cummings, Chairman Ellsworth E. Miller, Member Charles G. DeMirjyn, Member Chresten M. Knudsen, Member Bertha Rose Grace, Member R. P. Merritt, Jr. , Acting Director Edward F. Taylor, City Attorney Peggy A. Moseley, Secretary Erwin S. Hein, Redlands Daily Facts Chuck Palmer, San Bernardino Sun ABSENT None Minutes of the meeting of October 1, 1974 were approved as submitted. This Special meeting of the Redevelopment Agency was scheduled for the purpose of considering matters relating to the disposal of the building now owned by the Agency and located on the prop- erty at 201-211 West Redlands Boulevard. Mr. Merritt described the structure size, age.. Surplus and condition; listed the requirements of the Building proposed bid call, and explained that it was first necessary to declare the building surplus to the needs of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands. Following a brief discussion, on motion of Member Miller, seconded by Member Knudsen, this building was unanimously declared surplus to the needs of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands. Director of Building and Safety Mitchell stated that the building was to be cut off at the slab Bid Call and removed and relocated by the highest bidder, Building and that the slab removal would take place at a Removal later date along with the preparation of the adjacent land. On motion of Member Miller, seconded by Member Knudsen, the Agency Secretary was authorized to advertise for bids according to the requirements as prepared by Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Poer. These bids will be opened on November 12, 1974. On motion of Member DeMirjyn, seconded by Member Grant Deed Grace, the Acting Director was authorized to Osbun execute the certificate of acceptance for a grant deed to the Redevelopment Agency from Emmett and Imogene Osbun, Mary Lea Osbun Beddoes, B. E. and Marilyn S. Osbun and Osbun Groves. There being no further business, the Redevelopment Agency adjourned, on motion. Next regular meeting, November 5, 1974.
