PRESENT Ellsworth E. Miller, Vice Chairman Charles G. DeMirjyn, Member Chresten Ms Knudsen, Member Bertha Rose Grace, Member R. P. Merritt, Jr. , Acting Executive Director Edward F. Cummings, Chairman The meeting was called to order by Nice Chairman Miller immediately following the Planning Session of the City Council. JOIN BIDS The following bids for the purchase and removal of the surplus building located at 201 - 211 Redlands Boulevard, were opened and publicly declared in the office of the Secretary at 10 :00 A.M. on November 12, 1974: Delbert Fowler - Perry E. Hayes 210 gest Citrus Avenue $ 2, 525 Orland Fowler Bid Award 210 West Citrus Avenue $ 7, 525 Surplus Charles N. Ziilch Building 105-1/2 Grange Street $15, 569 Rapid Data - Michael Sporong 207 West Redlands Boulevard $22, 239 These bids were studies by the Department of Building and Safety, and it is now the recom- mendation of Director Mitchell that the high, qualified bid of Rapid Data be accepted. On motion of Member Grace, seconded by Member Knudsen, the bid of Rapid Data in the amount of $22, 239 was accepted by AYE votes of all present. Mr. Merritt requested Agency authorization to advertise for bids on the second phase of demolition, with opening to be made on December Bid Call 17, 1974 and work to commence on January 8, 1975. Phase Two Phase Two will include the area between the Demolition alleys south and north of Citrus Avenue and between Eureka and Fourth Streets. On motion of Member Grace, seconded by Member DeMirjyn, advertising for bids on this project was approved by AYE votes of all present. Mr. Merritt complimented Mr. Hathaway, Mr. Mitchell, Mr. Hicks and the City staff on the over-all handling of Phase One of the demolition project.
