BIDS The following bids for installation of the sewer main within the redevelopment project area between Orange Street, Citrus Avenue and AMR Eureka Street were opened and publicly declared in the office of the City Clerk at 10:00 A.M. this date: Jahn T. Plumbing Company Los Angeles, CA $100,412.00 It is the recommendation of the Municipal Services Department that the low bid of John P. Malloy, which is under the estimate, not be awarded at the present time, Pacific Telephone Company on January 19, 1976, notified the City that the transcontinental cable was not completely installed in Citrus Avenue according to the plans they had provided Av the City. It is recommended that the contract 4 t be awarded after the "as built" plan is received, 40 and any necessary changes of the sewer main alignment are made on the plans with the agreement of the low bidder. This recommen- dation was unanimously accepted by the Agency on motion of Member Knudsen, seconded by Member Miller. Director of Building and Safety Mitchell requested permission to advertise for bids Bid Call for demolition of the buildings located on Phase the property between Fourth Street on the Five Demolition east, Eureka Street on the west, Redlands Boulevard on the north, and the alley south of Redlands Boulevard on the south, with the bids to be opened on February 13, 1976 and award made at the meeting of February 17, 1976. On motion of Member Knudsen, seconded by Member Miller, unanimous approval was given to this bid call, Community Development Coordinator Poer reported briefly on the occupancy situation in these buildings and the progress being made to relocate the firms . On motion of Member DeMirjyn, seconded by Bid Call Member Grace, unanimous approval was given Replace to advertise for bids for replacement of Zanj a Drain approximately 300 feet of the old underground Zanja drain that crosses the northwest corner of the project area. It is hoped that award will be available for the meeting of March 16, 1976. Where being no further business, the Agency adjourned, on motion, at 3 :25 P.M.
