Acting Redevelopment Executive Director Mitchell
explained that the requirement for the installa-
tion of the sewer on Tennessee Street for the
Sewer Carl ' s Jr. development at Tennessee Street and
Installation
Colton Avenue has become prohibitive with the
Tennessee possible loss of this project. Mr. Mitchell and
Street
Mr . Schindler suggested that the installation of
the sewer could be handled by Redevelopment Funds
and would ultimately be returned to the Agency
in full. They added that there would be no
delay in the immediate development of Carl 's
Jr . as it will attach to the sewer on Colton
Avenue.
On motion of Member Knudsen, seconded by Member
Grace, the Acting Executive Director was given
the option to build the sewer with Redevelopment
funds if necessary in order to keep the Carl 's
Jr. development intact. It was added that the
Redevelopment Agency might assume the responsibi-
lity at a later date. This motion was unanimously
approved..
