MINUTES of an adjourned special meeting of the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Redlands, held in the Council
Chambers, Safety Hall, 212 Brookside Avenue, on
February 16 , 1982 , at 4 : 00 P.M.

ABSENT None
Aft The special meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of
February 2 , 1982 , was adjourned to this time and place
continuing consideration of requesting Safeco Title
030C
Insurance Company to conduct a title search of property
along the Southern Pacific Railroad from Orange Street
westerly to Wabash Avenue.
Executive Director Christiansen explained that neither
the Southern Pacific Railroad or the Redevelopment
Agency are sure who owns the property and that in our
opinion the counter offer by the railroad is not fair
market value.
Based on the staff report that delineates and defines
what we are buying and what the binder represents,
Member Gorman moved to appropriate $12 ,500 from the
Redevelopment funds and authorized Safeco Title Insur-
ance Company to conduct a title search of subject
property. Motion seconded by Member Riordan and
carried unanimously.
There being no further business scheduled for this
meeting, the Redevelopment Agency adjourned, on motion,
at 4 :05 P.M.
Next regular meeting, March 2 , 1982 .
