PRESENT Charles G. DeMirjyn, Vice Chairman James W. Gorman, Member Tim Johnson, Member Chris C. Christiansen, Executive Director Dallas Holmes, City Attorney Lorrie Poyzer, Secretary Glenn Cunliffe, Redlands Daily Facts Pat Brown, The Sun ABSENT Kenneth Roth, Chairman Oddie J. Martinez , Jr. , Member 0322 The minutes of the regular meeting of the Redevelop- ment Agency of the City of Redlands of January 18 , 1983 , were approved as submitted. Mr. Bob Mitchell, liaison coordinator to the Agency, made a report of what is being done in the core revitalization area and requested guidelines from the Redevelopment Agency. Following discussion, Member Johnson moved to request by letter that the Army Corps of Engineers proceed Zanja with the Zanja Flood project in obtaining its approval, Flood Project and to notify them that the Redlands Redevelopment Agency supports the project and intends to participate in it. Motion seconded by Member Gorman and carried by AYE votes of all present. Member Johnson moved to authorize staff to formalize with the County that the City of Redlands intends to Reservoir proceed with the Reservoir Canyon project and direct Canyon Project staff to proceed with the review of the plans and identify the construction agency, prepare cost esti- mates , and return to the Agency for approval before executing with any contracts. Motion seconded by Member Gorman and carried by AYE votes of all present. Member Gorman moved to proceed with a bond issue to utilize the tax increments in connection with flood control and to authorize staff to proceed with re- Bond Issue view of proposals from municipal finance corporations and to return to the agency for approval if the hiring of one of those agencies is recommended. Motion seconded by Member Johnson and carried by AYE votes of all present. AS I 0,323 Member Rothentered the Chambers at 4 :00 P.M. In other business, Member DeM .rjyn moved: to refer to the Traffic Commission a request to study the possibility of widening Grange Street between Orange State Street and Citrus Avenue in order that Street parking could, be allowed on the east side of Traffic Study grange Street. Motion seconded by Member Johnson and carried by AYR votes of all preset. There being no further business, the Redevelopment Agency adjoined, on motion, at 4 .05 R.M.
