MINUTES of a special meeting of the Redevelopment Agency
of the City of Redlands held in the Council Chambers,
Safety Miall, 212 Brookside Avenue, on March 15,
1983, at 4 :15 p.m.

The minutes of the regular meeting of the Redevelop-
ment Agency of the City of Redlands of March 1 , 1983 ,
were approved as amended.
Mr. Jack B. Cummings, member of the Economic Develop-
Funds ment Committee of the Chamber of Commerce, presented
Brochure a proposal for the preparation of a high quality
Publication four-color brochure to improve the economic viability
of our City and requested $12 ,000 from the Redevelopment
Agency for this brochure. Mr. Leon Armantrout spoke
briefly stating this proposal represents the entire
community and is crucially important. Member Martinez
moved to approve this request for funds; motion
seconded by Member Johnson and carried by the following
vote :
AYES : Members Martinez , Johnson; Chairman Roth
NOES : Members DeMirjyn, Gorman
Resolution No. 163, a resolution of the Redevelopment
Resolution Agency of the City of Redlands amending the Agency' s
No. 163
Rules of Procedure to provide for regular meetings
Meeting to be held on the first and third Tuesdays of each
Dates month at 3 :00 p.m. or as soon immediately thereafter
as City Council business permits, was read in full,
filed with the Agency secretary, and will be voted on
at the next meeting of the Agency.
Mr. Robert Mitchell presented a proposed contract
amendment with the Arroyo Group for the Zanja Drain
with an additional cost to be within $10,000 which
Contract will be billed as additional services on a time and
Amendment expense basis. He assured Agency members the cost
Arroyo will not exceed $10,000 and that he is watching the
Group study closely. Member Martinez moved to approve the
amendment for additional services up to $10,000 sub-
ject to approval of the City Attorney. Motion
seconded by Member Gorman and carried unanimously.

There being no further business, the Redevelopment
Agency adjourned, on motion, at 4 :45 p.m.
