MINUTES of a special meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Redlands held in the Council Chambers ,
Safety Hall, 212 Brookside Avenue, on April 5 , 1983 ,
at 3 : 35 P .M.

Mayor Roth called this special meeting of the Re-
development Agency to order to consider a request
to approve the purchase of the old City Yard
located at the corner of Texas Street and Redlands
Boulevard at a cost of $335 ,000 and to authorize
the Chairman and Secretary to sign documents as
necessary.
John Donnelly explained an appraisal was done on
ry the parcel that houses the Street Division of Public
Works and then they extrapolated the square foot
price on the Floral Plunge parcel . He continued

that it is hoped the City can then expand the new
r City Yards on Tennessee Street to accommodate the
Street Division after a study is made for better
utilization of the buildings and yard. The City will
use the monies from the sale for the study and
expansion.
Member DeMirjyn moved to approve the offer from the
Purchase City to purchase the old City Yard Located on Texas
Cold Street and Redlands Boulevard for $335 ,000 and to
City Yards
authorize the Chairman and Secretary to sign documents
as necessary. Motion seconded by Member Gorman and
carried by AYE votes of all present.
There being no further business on the agenda, the Re-
development Agency adjourned on motion, at 3 :50 P.M.
