MINUTES of a regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Redlands held in the Council Chambers ,
Safety Hall , 212 Brookside Avenue on May 3 , 1983 ,
SIR. at 4 :15 P.M.

Minutes of the regular meeting of the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Redlands of April 21, 1983 ,
were approved as submitted.
On motion of Member Demirjyn, seconded by Member
Appointment Gorman, Mr. John E. Holmes was appointed Executive
Director of the Redlands Redevelopment Agency by
AYE votes of all present.

Mr. Jim Goddell of the Arroyo Group briefed Agency
members on the downtown revitalization project and
what has been accomplished so far. The market study
has been completed and shows what the strengths are
such as retail expansion and the need for beautifi-
cation of the area under study. He also spoke of
the possibility of residential and hotel construction.
Revitalization Member Johnson entered the Chambers at 4 :20 P .M.
Project
Mr. Goddell informed Agency members that the next
step is to return to staff and the Revitalization
Committee to analyze the cost factors. This will be
done within 30-60 days.
Member Gorman stated he was impressed with the data
provided as it was very understandable.
There being no further business, the Redevelopment
Agency adjourned, on motion at 4 : 30 P.M.
