Ellis, The Sun ABSENT Carole Beswick, Chairman Minutes of the regular meeting of January 21, 1986, were approved as submitted. wr. The Redevelopment Agency recessed at 3:21 P.M. to a closed session w for the purpose of discussing matters covered by attorney/client privilege with no report expected.. The meeting reconvened at 7: 08 P.M. I r Phase I Two reports were provided in the Agency members' agenda packets: Progress Phase I Progress Report and Status from Derrill Quaschnick, and Report Phase I Improvements - Project Costs from Ron Mutter. Agency members reviewed these reports with staff, and Acting Chairman Larsen thanked staff for providing these detailed reports. Mr. Duane Bartlett, Vice President, of Terrain, Inc. and the project contractor, told the Agency he estimated that in 2-1/2 to 3 weeks he would be ready for the final walk-thru and that he felt the job had progressed in a timely construction manner. Acting Chairman Larsen stated we came together at this meeting in the spirit of cooperation, that the Agency wanted the job done in a timely manner, that the Agency would not accept substandard work, and was concerned about the appearance and craftsmanship. Public Works Director Donnelly noted that at the end of the contractor's estimated three-week time frame, the City would inspect the job which he estimated would take two days. Staff was directed to report back at the February 18, 1986, meeting with progress made and an expected time frame on each item to be completed.
