MINUTES of a regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Redlands held in the Council Chambers,
212 Brookside Avenue, on November 3, 1987, at
3:30 P.M.

Chairman Beswick called the meeting to order and
immediately recessed to a closed session for the
purpose of discussing pending litigation. In
accordance with State law, the Agency Attorney
prepared a confidential memo providing justification
for the pending litigation closed session. The
meeting reconvened at 8:34 P.M.
Minutes of the regular meeting of October 20, 1987,
were approved as submitted.
NEW BUSINESS
Facade Mr. Larsen moved to approve facade assistance for
Assistance 410 North Sixth Street (De Loux Schools of
Cosmetology, Mrs. Willa Ray, owner) in an amount
equal to 35 percent of actual costs not to exceed
$18,500.00 assuming the signs are brought up to Code
and resurfaced; or $16,400.00 should the applicant
elect not to improve the signs to Code standards.
Motion seconded by Mr. Johnson and carried
unanimously.
Property Mrs. Wormser moved that the Agency approve settle-
Acquisition ment of the acquisition of the property located at
523 orange Street (Assessor's Parcel No. 169-201-30)
in the total all-inclusive amount of $400,000.00 and
authorized the execution of any and all documents
pertaining thereto. Motion seconded by Mr. Larsen
and carried by the following vote:
AYES: Members Larsen, Johnson, Wormser,
Chairman Beswick
NOES: Member DeMirjyn
Funds for Mr. Johnson requested the Redevelopment Advisory
Agriculture Commission to study establishing a special category
for agricultural-related businesses located within
the Redevelopment Area boundary.
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned at 8:34 P.M.
