PRESENT Carole Beswick, Chairman Barbara C. Wormser, Vice Chairman Tim Johnson, Member William E. Cunningham, Member John E. Holmes, Executive Director Dallas Holmes, Agency Attorney Derrill Quaschnick, Agency Director Lorrie Poyzer, Agency Secretary John de Leon, The Sun Elaine Rankin, Redlands Daily Facts ABSENT Charles G. DeMirjyn, member Chairman Beswick called the meeting to order and immediately recessed to a closed session for the purpose of discussing pending litigation. In accordance with State law, the Agency Attorney prepared a confidential memo providing justifi- cation for the closed session. The meeting reconvened at 11:28 P.M. Minutes of the regular meeting of December 1, 1987, were approved as submitted. NEW BUSINESS Facade On motion of Mr. Johnson, seconded by Assistance Mr. Cunningham, the Agency approved by AYE votes of all present facade assistance for 421-425 Citrus Avenue (Sunset Travel, et al, Carl and Maxine Doss, owners) in an amount equal to 25 percent of the actual costs not to exceed $1,821.52. School Mr. Quaschnick presented a progress report on the Financing request to examine the feasibility of the Redevelopment Agency providing financial assistance to the Redlands Unified School District. Discussions are now underway, several different alternatives are being examined, and a proposal(s) from the School Board is expected within a few weeks. A joint meeting of the City Council/Agency and School Board has been requested for sometime in January and should be helpful in the evaluation of the various alternatives available. 0062 Rental Mrs. Beswick moved to approve the assumption of Assumption the master rental obligation for the property located at 36 Stuart Avenue, on a month-to-month basis, for the total monthly rental of $1,760.00 and to authorize the execution of all documents necessary to complete the rental agreement. Motion seconded by Mr. Johnson and carried by AYE votes of all present. Quitclaim Mr. Johnson moved to authorize the execution of a Deed Quitclaim Deed subject to its being recorded simultaneously with the Quitclaim Deed from Robles, et al to resolve what appears to be a longstanding error in recorded documents. Motion seconded by Mrs. Wormser and carried by AYE votes of all present. Facade On motion of Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mrs. Wormser, Assistance the Agency approved by AYE votes of all present facade assistance for 215 East State Street (Century 21 - Doss Realtors, Carl and Maxine Doss, owners) in an amount equal to 25 percent of actual costs not to exceed $974.29. The request for facade assistance for Carole's Corner was withdrawn from the agenda at this time. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 11:35 P.M.
